I recently bought my parents’ 1917 home (my childhood home) after my Mother’s death, and then set about trying to bring the house into the 21st century while at the same time maintaining its early 20th century character and charm. The builder we used for our whole home renovation contracted Rineer Designs to pull together the design plan for the entire renovation. Prior to purchasing this home, my husband and I had several renovations done to our NJ home. The contractors we used did not employ the services of a designer.
