I would love to believe that maybe he is just stressed from this whole ordeal that we are all going through right now. But I spoke to someone else who told me he was just as arrogant and abrupt with her before this whole pandemic thing started as he was with me. I understand being a physician is stressful. But he chose this job. Like any other human being, Dr. Weprin has positive attributes and negative ones. He is a skilled doctor and will help you get to the bottom of things. A word of warning, though: Don't question or challenge him. EVER. He really helped me when I needed him to, but once I proved him wrong about a health issue I was having, his whole demeanor changed toward me. I didn't feel comfortable around him after that.
Worst experience I have EVER had. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! My 3 children typically go to a DR in Dallas and with COVID and working from home now I was trying to find a DR closer to home. I read the reviews and felt confident in my decision to switch my kids over to this office. I have never felt like such a failure as a parent than I did leaving the visit. I love dr Channa! My son had major issues eating since birth. She never blew me off and listened to me. She fought for him to get a scope and he ended up having a cleft!! Without her, my son would be struggling to eat and probably tube fed. And I love that she always responds to my messages! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience, spot on diagnosis and professional bedside manners
I booked appointments months in advance. The day before the appointment they leave a voice message to confirm appointment. Then, 2 hours later leave another voice message stating that the appointment is cancelled a doctor decides not to come in. This is an inconvenience because I drove from out of town (6 hrs) for the appointment. They didn't offer to send to a practitioner or provide referral to another doctor. Bad business.
He's nice until you challenge his suggestions. Then he takes great issue that you would dare to want a second opinion. He's too tightly would and needs to leave emotion out of it. Whole demeanor screams insecurity. I am sure he is skilled but he needs to put himself in the position of the parent and understand that this is our child who will be affected by these decisions and they are not so easy to make.
