RimSpec repaired bumper damage from where a van backed into me. They gave me an estimate on the spot and were quite reasonable. Their facility may not have all the flash and sizzle of some of the larger chains, but that is reflected in the price. They were friendly and very responsive. I called once before they were open and got a call back even though I didn't leave a message. I needed a little rework which they performed promptly and cheerfully. BEWARE! These people are not truthful and cheats. I have called numerous times and I even went back to the Grand Prairie location trying to get my issue resolved. I have a brand new car whereas I scraped my wheel and it needed repaired and repainted. Not only did they paint the wheel the incorrect color, when they remounted the wheel they placed it on the other side of the car thinking that I would not notice. Do not take your rims there. Took my 3 pieces rim so they can ship it out to Forgiato for an inner barrel replacement that was cracked. A simple 2 weeks process, they said that they can do it themselves, order the part and replace it. Six months now and they refuse to answer my phone calls anymore just so they can have it ready for me so I drive all the way to Dallas from Austin to pick it up. CROOKS! They stole parts from my car to use on other customers/friends vehicles. When confronted they claimed ex-employee must have done it. I still haven't received replacement parts… Obviously, they ignored my calls and attempts to get my money / new parts. Having to file charges and go to court is the only way to get things handled with them! STAY AWAY…
Awesome place if you want to fix your caps or rims. Very friendly staff and Arturo (rim specialist) was very helpful and fast. Gave me a reasonable price and was cheaper than other websites. Highly recommended come here. Elvia was helpful and professional, great smile.
I had a wheel repaired three years ago at rim spec. Hear I am again with another wheel for my mustang and the service is still good. I don't know what these other guys on here is talking about but these guys showed me every bad spot on the wheel I couldn't see before I left the shop and when I had the tire put on it balanced out perfect. Good job.
