ZERO communication- medication management is HORRIBLE... They put our child on an alcohol and opiate blocker without our knowledge-- the kid has never been addicted to either in his life. The MG of sleeping med he was put on is more than my mother who has been taking the med for 20 years!!!! schooling? a joke.... and prepare for your kid to come home with a whole new vocabulary and set of skills he didn't have before! (not good either!) this place is NOT a recommendation of mine.
I really regret sending my son here. They made us feel like everything was going to be taken care of while he was in there including schooling. He was able to get .5 credits in 3 months there thats it. Communication is horrible. Some no call back at all. My son was put on 4 different medications without my knowledge. The excuse was " I was busy for 2 weeks so I couldn't let you know". He had some clothes that staff were responsible for and they lost them. If I could give zero stars I would! The communication between Rimrock and the parent is awful. I felt totally cut off from my son and his progress while he was at Rimrock.
I love this place brings back a lot of memories I'm glad I got sent here I wouldn't have the tools I have today stop my addiction
Overall pretty decent, however if you have higher mental needs, not exactly the place for you. I liked it there a lot however there were some things I feel like I didn't communicate very well and that they didn't completely understand. I asked for a lot of space to myself which they could give to an extent. I only wish that instead of just throwing you straight into whatever they are doing, they'd give you more time.
