These people are very unprofessional. I was scheduled for a physical exam with the NP at the practice for Aug 25. I made the appointment a month in advance because I had to reschedule. I go in and the receptionist is surprised to see me. Apparently, one of the receptionists cancelled and rescheduled my appointment without any notice to me. No call, no text, no email. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this provider. She was rude, dismissive, and showed no genuine concern for her patients. It’s clear she only works a couple of times a month and lacks accountability and professionalism. My visit felt rushed — she didn’t listen, made inappropriate comments about sensitive parts of my medical history, and provided no real help for the issue I came in for. Front desk was nice. Doctor seemed great until she told my 12 year old daughter that would like to see her lighter next time we came back. My daughter left in tears. There is no need to pathologize her body’s development during a stage that is known for weight fluctuations, especially since we know how vulnerable young girls are to eating disorders. Looking at a chart and seeing a person’s body weight should not override your ability to look at my child and see that she is healthy and thriving.
