I was referred to Dr. Strassman by a lactation consultant, which is why it shocked me when she gave unsolicited weaning advice to me when my son was 6 weeks old! She is very pleasant as long as you are agreeing with her, but if you disagree with any of her recommendations, she becomes a bully. My child doesn't really care for #fullname|business~this pediatrician#, but we continue to go. Their bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I wish they had been a little more respectful of my values and opinions on parenting issues.They ask you for the issue with your child but will give you 10 secs to talk. After 18 years, it is time for my daughter to move on to a big-girl doctor. On her last visit before college, I alerted the staff she would not be returning and requested that her records be transferred to our family physician. A few days later, I received a call alerting me of the $40.00 fee for transferring the records to a CD. If I choose not to pay the $40, I can come in tomorrow to pick up a "print out of vists and diagnoses," but not her full record file. Really? Do you trust this pediatrician to always have your child's best interest in mind? Absolutely! I trust them over any other doctor Was this pediatrician able to answer all your questions about immunizations? All of them! They also gave me more information that I wasn't aware of How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited? Among the best I have seen

Did this provider seem up-to-date with the current advancements in their field? Yes, they were informing me of new advancements that were extremely recent Did this provider rush your appointment? No Is this business in a safe neighborhood? Absolutely, It is the safest neighborhood around

There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. After I told them that I didn't want my child to get certain vaccinations, they were very kind and considerate, and respected my decision. I really appreciated having a pediatrician that let me make what I felt were the right decisions for my child. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members.
