I saw Dr. Rihacek today. This is my 2nd visit. I have RA for 45 years so I have seen numerous doctors to help manage this disease. Dr. R. is calm, patient, answers EVERY question, understands patients dealing with conditions for decades. I love his office manners and the ease with which he speaks with you. Thank you, Dr. R., for listening, making suggestions and not rushing through the appt. C. Larkins, female
A patient since 2000. Dr rihacek immediately believed that I was sick and reassured me that he could help me. After a long period of full disability I have gotten my life back. Dr. R didn't stop until we found the right treatment for me. I will always be grateful for his kindness and brilliance. He also treats my husband and was the only doctor to test for and find a rare missing piece of his immunity and then recommended a specialist for that segment of his health. He treats his autoimmune and has consulted with the hematol... read more
Knowledgeable, competent and thorough. The office staff leave something to be desired, however.
i was left without a quality of life medicine causing me to be unable to walk or be mobile. The office refused to see my wife and sent her a letter they would not see her. The letter did not include me. My script of Enbrel needed refilling. the pharmacy called the doctors office and they refused to fill it. I called the office and they refused to give me a appointment or refill my medicine because of my wife's situation. No office should leave you with out a doctor or the medicine needed.
I have been a patient of his for well over 10 years now. I have referred friends and family to him because I trust him implicitly. I have been to other rheumatologists and they have not compared to his compassion and treatment. He is not in network with my current insurance and I pay out of pocket because of how good I feel he is.
Incorrect diagnosis lead to several months of extra pain and suffering that was completely unnecessary. The next doctor I saw got to the correct diagnosis and started an effective treatment plan after only two visits. Dr. Rihacek could not admit he made a mistake and responded to my questions about his with rudeness and unbelievably aggressive and inappropriate (thankfully, as it lead me to find a better doctor).
I was a patient for more than 10 years. He's a caring doctor with an excellent staff. If closer to home (and not out of network), I'd still be there.
