I am a caregiver for Right at Home Simi Valley. We provide affordable in-home care. We care for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. We also provide respite care to family members who are caregivers. As a caregiver, I provide transportation, companionship and personal care. Some clients need some of our services, some need all of them. I have been a caregiver for many years and this is one of the best companies I have worked for. They really care about their clients and their employees.

I have been my dad caregiver for a few months and I started looking for some help to care for him because it was a lot. He’s a veteran with dementia. I called Right at Home Simi Valley and they helped me with the VA benefits to get him in home care and they also helped us with Medicaid Guide for respite hours. The owner is a veteran and took time to educate me on the process. The additional hours helped me take care of myself and my dad. I used this company for my dad when I had to go out of town for work. They came out met him and made a care plan. Then started the service. They cleaned up, made meals, feed the dog, even got my dad to go for a walk using his walker. I was going to just use them for that week, but we kept the service. Cause he never wanted to use that walker or go for a walk. I was shocked. So now they come out twice a week. They even take him to appointments and the grocery store. I recommend using the them.

Right at Home in Simi Valley helped me in a stressful situation. My mom was getting released from the hospital and I didn’t know what to do. The owner came to me to conduct the client consultation no charge on the weekend. When my mom was released from the hospital the owner followed up to make sure they had the most updated information about my mom’s condition. The caregiver assigned was knowledgeable and caring.
