As I settled in behind my rifle a few days ago on a stage at the local monthly match that included targets at 815, 994, and 1370 yards I was feeling pretty confident then I got cocky and dropped my second shot at 815. As I was setting up for the target at 994 I heard Jacobs voice in my head telling me to embrace the fundamentals.
