Great experience at Ridgeway Chevy. Have done business there for many years. Bought a Traverse and love it! Read the previous reviews and have to admit there were a few rough years there, however, in 2009 the dealership completely changed management and there is a marked difference, even exceptional. I highly recommend RC for a vehicle or service.I checked, could not find a dealership with lower service rates and prices.
IN 2003 I HAD A VERY PLEASANT CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE AT RIDGEWAY IN LANSING. THE SALESMAN WAS POLITE, INFORMATIVE AND NOT AT ALL PUSHY OR ABRASIVE. WE TOLD THE SALESMAN THE TYPE OF VEHICLE THAT WERE WERE INTERESTED IN AND HE SHOWED US WHAT HE HAD ON THE LOT. HE TOOK US FOR A TEST DRIVE IN TWO OF THEM. HE EXPLAINED ALL OF THE FEATURES ON EACH OF THE CARS AND LEFT US ALONE TO MAKE OUR DECISION. WE DECIDED ON A 2001 BLAZER. WE RETURNED THE FOLLOWING DAY TO COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK. Just in case you didnt know, Ridgeway Chevy offers oil changes for \$14.95. Not only do they give you an oil change, you also get an 31-point inspection and a car wash. Not thats alot for \$15. And this offer is not only for chevys. Its any GM car. I think for trucks its a little more, but its still cheaper than going to one of those oil changes places or another dealership. I have bought two cars from this dealership and both were terrible!! The first car they blew up the tire and promised to fix the body damage but amazingly never did-always gave me the runaround. 5 years later I purchase my first new vehicle from this place against my better judgement-and the conversion van rained on the inside and the cargo door opened on its own-not covered by their warranty because it was a conversion-Buyer Beware-they are liars!!! Not your friends after you sign the paperwork!!
Bad experience. They would not give us a price on the car we were interested in. We went to Ridgeway Chevrolet in Lansing Illinois to look at used cars and possibly purchase. Instead of showing us a few cars, the sales person interrogated us for about 20 minutes about everything under the sun; credit, why did we need to purchase, do we have a family, how much do we want to spend, which lender do we have, and asked if they could help us with our lender to get financing, etc. Alot of which is none of their business until I pur... read more
