Please do not send your loved ones here. I'll be contacting an attorney. My mom was sent to Ridgeview directly from the hospital. She's been to many facilities over the years and this one was the worst. We learned of roaches, neglect, lack of care and treatment, uncleanliness. This place is crap. My family and I called every day but no one would let us speak to her without a patient ID number. I was recently a patient at Ridgeview Institute Monroe. I have been to several detox/mental health facilities in the last few years struggling with addiction and depression. My stay here was one of the most stressful/traumatic stays I've ever had. I was told by a RN that "I think I'm too good for this place" when she abruptly said my name and to come take my medicine. Hooo boy, okay… Nurses have GOT to learn how to deal with panic disorders. I was only there because of a panic attack, and once I got there, they refused to give me my medication for a whole day, then they punished me for crying! How am I not supposed to cry off of my meds? Isn’t this a hospital? Also, since I got out I have YET to get my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy, even though I providing a detailed location. There were a couple of good nurses.
