My experience with Ridge View apartments (St. Francis, WI) is almost deplorable. I have extensive mold/ mildew in my apartment's secondary bedroom that I have continuously notified them to fix it. I was advised that the leakage problem that created the issue was taken care of, however my secondary bedroom's carpet is full of mold. I've lived here for 8 years. I obviously like it here or I would have moved by now. It's true that we got new laundry machines a few years ago (only 3 washers and 3 dryers for the entire building). The machines are never cleaned or wiped down. With the amount of traffic these machines get, they get filthy quickly. When I do my laundry, I bring disinfectant wipes to clean the machine with first, which adds time and work to the chore each time. Please note I only ever post positive reviews on my account—this apartment is the exception. Make sure you know your tenant rights and thoroughly go through your move in check list if you move here. When they inevitably try to charge you upon move out for more than your deposit, legal consultations are often free and they will gladly review your lease agreement.
