12/23/2024, lodging at Modern Mountain VRBO Flatwood Road. A Heating issue had developed. Owner had Ridge Valley Heat and Air service the issue. They responded in a prompt, efficient, friendly and professional manner. The Tech quickly isolated and solved the issue, replaced the Thermostat. Our heat stopped working on Monday of this week, and Nate from Ridge Valley Heat & Air came out the same day and diagnosed the problem as a leaking indoor evaporator coil on our heat pump. He said the part would have to be ordered, and he wasn’t sure how long it would take to get one. Our forecast called for frigid temps with lows in the teens starting on Sunday, so we were very worried about not having heat during that period.
