All the reviews are so extreme, positive or negative, I want to offer the balanced view I wish I’d been able to see here. The key takeaway is that, for my daughter (who can be very treatment resistant) it worked. Not a miracle transformation, but real skills and shifts in attitude and approach to life. A family member is being discharged tomorrow. The therapist is very biased towards the non custodial parent and never included in family meetings due to the custodial parent false narrative. The insurance company which the non custodial parent pays for will be notified of charges made on the lack of “family meetings “ as there were none. Only the custodial parent had the meetings and that’s the cause of distress in this situation. Spent a week here, one of the worst weeks ever. This is a place for kids with self harm issues or substance issues. In order to leave a bathroom you have to ring a doorbell. They are understaffed and if the nurse office is busy and you feel nauseous and need to lay down during the day you just cant. I currently have nightmares of being back there. Wish i could give it zero stars. most unprofessional place i’ve ever dealt with. Incredibly hard to get ahold of anybody. Denied my admission almost a week after my phone assessment after me calling admissions every single day and them telling me it was still under review. call them again five days later only to find out they denied me and, for some reason, just didn’t call me to let me know.
