I went to the ridge and the staff are great but the whole facility is understaffed and un controled in my experience the therapy groups did nothing for me and they kept me for 45 days instead of the minimal 30 days strictly so that they could get more money my therapist and staff where saying that I should be gone on the minimal date but since they care more about there profit margin than there clients they kept me 2 weeks over when I should have been discharged.

I wish I could give this place zero stars but sadly I can't. I went here April-June 2026 and it was the worst experience ever. The cops were there every night. Constant elopements. I was in the YA program yet there were more minors then 18-20 year olds as promised. I didn't sign up to be in a dorm with 15-17 year olds. I was also told it was a mental health facility yet most of the people there were there for substance abuse and were told it was a rehab. My child was accepted here with the same known issues he was discharged for only 7 days later. We drove multiple states because we thought this was going to be a great opportunity for our child. He was one of the youngest there. He’s at a way different place as a 13 year old than 16-18 yr olds in their lives. I've been grateful to know Rudy Novak and have the ability to turn to him for assistance anytime a friend or family member is struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health issues, and he has always gone above and beyond to facilitate help for them. I've seen The Ridge treatment center and its offshoots change the entire trajectory of close friends over the years, and i've watched people build entirely new lives with the skills and assistance that was introduced at The Ridge. I've known a member of the Ridge Team, Rudy Novak for years, and he's become one of the very first people I think of whenever a friend or family member is struggling with mental health or needs help finding the right level of care.
