If I could leave her zero stars, I would. Her reviews speak for themselves. Why on earth any of the lender companies use her is beyond me. Clearly not a competent appraiser. In literally every single market across America, prices are up. How a home could be appraised & sell @ 350k in 2022, and in 2023 worth 330k…. Beyond idiotic. Unfortunately this destroyer of dreams has struck again. Within a six minute visit to our home she has single-handedly ruined two families futures. She undervalued our home by at least 50k, erasing all the hard work that went into making this deal happen. Due to this appraiser's incompetence we are forced to go back on the market. We are looking forward to a better outcome this time around and we hope this woman is never allowed to make another heart/deal breaking appraisal ever again! Came in 20k below on a 117k sale price. But not only that, Sherri Bourque the owner is a condescending, terrible human being. Not interested in any discussion or listening to concerns, she just thinks she is right. She's the worst of what the real estate appraisal industry has to offer. She is banned from all future deals we have. If a lender will not reorder, then our seller will dismiss said buyer from the deal. Great job Sherri, sounds like you're doing great! All these terrible reviews suggest so.
Beware. Do not use there services. If I could give a negative rating I would. We lost our forever home because she under valued it by $50,000. There’s so many mistakes in the appraisal to many to type out. One being she calculates square footage wrong, she comps she used were a laughing joke. She gave no credit for a lower level bedroom and bathroom. This is completely unreasonable. She has to be out of her mind. By the way these reviews are I’m surprised she’s still in business.
