Ride the Ducks of Seattle

4.5

About this business

Tour Seattle on a refurbished World War II amphibious landing craft. The 90-minute tour includes such attractions as the Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Then this strange vehicle plunges into Lake Union. The tour cruises past many houseboats and other lake sights. Tickets can be purchased between the base of the Space Needle and the Monorail Terminal at Seattle Center. Tours leave every hour during the summer, less frequently in the off season.

As a high school band member, I actually rode on the first duck tour in Seattle. It was a lot of fun, but the victims of last year's accident need justice. Until Ride the Duck takes full responsibility for what happened, I will never ride on any of their tours, and will tell everyone that I know to do the same.

If you are a tourist of color, you can get killed onboard and get no compensation.

Do not support this business. They refuse to compensate the families of the people they killed.

Ride the Ducks killed several foreign exchange students in 2015 from North Seattle Community College through their negligence and now are blocking their families from suing for wrongful death with a racist law from 1901. They are scumbags and should be put out of business.

Since moving to Seattle 3 years ago, I have witnessed Ride the Ducks driving unsafely and hindering traffic. There have been countless news stories about Ride the Ducks, including nearly killing a motorcyclist, killing 5 people in September of 2015, and in the past 2 months have caused 2 major car accidents in Downtown Seattle. Do not give these people your business.

Do the right thing. Your company killed innocent kids and you're hiding behind an unconstitutional law. Enjoy Hell.

Every second was ridiculously AWESOME! Chance O'Rain and Captain Doug were great, safe, and entertaining. My daughter and I are boring prudes, they even had us dancing, singing, and laughing. This was one of the best parts of our trip to Seattle. Everyone should do it!
