Ride the Ducks of Seattle

4.5

About this business

Tour Seattle on a refurbished World War II amphibious landing craft. The 90-minute tour includes such attractions as the Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Then this strange vehicle plunges into Lake Union. The tour cruises past many houseboats and other lake sights. Tickets can be purchased between the base of the Space Needle and the Monorail Terminal at Seattle Center. Tours leave every hour during the summer, less frequently in the off season.

Our family of 6 (aged 40s to 5) had a whirlwind Seattle experience and decided to do the Ducks at the last minute. It was by far our favorite part of the quick touristy trip we did through the city. It's a fun, unique experience, my almost 5 year old had never been in a boat before and no doubt he will remember this for life.

This tour was so boring, I literally slept through 90% of it. I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy.

Have not done it yet but planning on taking my Canadian niece when she comes next week. Our concern, are there any personal flotation device on board? Thanks!

Business response:

Of course! All our vessels are certified by the United States Coast Guard and have flotation devices onboard for both kids and adults! Plus, your Captain holds at least a 25-ton USCG Master's License!

We got there for a 1:30 departure only to be told the reservation confirmation paper we had was not found and we were not offered any explanation other than if a third party (Expedia) is involved they can not help or honor the reservation confirmation
