Ride the Ducks of Seattle

4.5

About this business

Tour Seattle on a refurbished World War II amphibious landing craft. The 90-minute tour includes such attractions as the Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Then this strange vehicle plunges into Lake Union. The tour cruises past many houseboats and other lake sights. Tickets can be purchased between the base of the Space Needle and the Monorail Terminal at Seattle Center. Tours leave every hour during the summer, less frequently in the off season.

We felt like total tourists (because we are), but we had a great time! Seeing the city by land and sea, and listening to our tour guide, Hugh Manatee , tell us about the city and tell corny jokes. If this is your first time here, I highly recommend it. It was fun!

We were with a group of 20 and boy was it fun. Our captain was farty something and the guide was a girl with short hair and air guitar was great. Very fun. And the more rowdy the more fun!!!

This was probably the most fun tourist experience I’ve had. People of any age could be entertained and educated about random facts of the many places you pass. I can’t say enough about how much fun our driver and guide were. Definitely would go again!
