We contracted with Ricky's Pools to re-plaster our commercial pool and refinish the pool deck. The issues started right away. Within months of opening the pool, the new plaster was cracking. Shortly thereafter, a giant crack appeared across one of the steps and eventually the pool deck started cracking as well (they sealed all of the expansion joints). a crew came back out to make the repair and was in and out within only a few hours. my mother just purchased an above ground pool from them and hasnt had nothing but problems they put concrete blocks down to hold the posts up and they have now cut holes in the liner. and this would be the 2nd time they have had holes in the liner. she called them to come fix the problem they made and will not come fix at their cost. they dont ever answer her calls or call her back when she leaves them a message.. this places needs to be closed down.
Ricky Pleau who is the owner at Rickys Pool is a horrible contractor who needs his license revoked. We signed a contract with him July 23,2015. He told us start to finish it would be 6 weeks. We did not get to use our pool until June 23,2016. We had to pay another Pool Service Company to come clean our pool and get it suitable to swim in. We are still out of a heater, spa and pool cover and LED light for spa. He refuses to finish the work that he was contracted to do. Ricky built my in ground pool approximately 3 years ago. I had two other pools built prior to this one. I went with the salt water system and believe me there has been little to no maintenance with the salt system. I had chlorine systems prior to this and spent a small fortune on chemicals. Since the day of completion, never have any corrective repairs of any kind been done.. I did my research before choosing Ricky's Pools. Horrible place!!! Incompetent,rude,owner. This man is the most unprofessionl person I have ever dealt with. They left our pool a cloudy mess with sand still pouring in it after they left. I was so disappointed with the entire experience. He refused to take the blame for what they did. He told me to get out of his store and find someone else to fix the mistakes he made. Horrible owner. I called because another driver and I witnessed Ricky driving a blue dodge truck. He was speeding, swerved into on-coming traffic, and passed on a double line. When I stopped at the gas station the other driver was telling me about it and said that he wasn't going to call it in. Well since the truck had the business on it I thought I'd let them know. This is the absolute worst place in South Carolina. We recently purchased a home that he had done alot of work on the inground pool and hot tub and within a few months we are having to pay another company to redo all of his mess. We had him come out several times and he was rude and refused to warranty his work blaming it on anything but what he had done. We have had several experts review the problems all with the same conclusion-it was all done cheaply and shoty using the wrong materials. DO NOT go to this place.

Me and my family had saved for months to buy a new pool. We interviewed multiple contractors and decided to use Rick Pleau with Ricky's Pools at the beginning of summer. He guaranteed he would be done within 6 weeks or less. He even put this in the contract and used it to separate himself from the other competitors.
