So a good buddy of mine calls me and a couple of other friends and says "I gotta take you to Repka's for crawfish". Repka's, just a little outside of Brookshire is a classic, old school, been there forever, Texas cafe. Crawfish was terrific as were the menu options. Go on Friday. The place is hopping with local. Lots of fun and I can't wait to go back.
My review is based on 15 years ago when it was just a little piece of Heaven in the middle of nowhere when I lived in Brookshire .. Before it was raided by the outside world .. The Service was excellent and the food great - the juke box a blast and the Brookshire locals endearing ! spent many a great weekend there with our BYOB . I'm sure it's not the same anymore - but hey I get back to Brookshire I'll be sure to check my old water hole out ..!
Great food...crawfish are fantastic. People are friendly. Love it.
Home style cooking and a down home atmosphere with great people. My personal favorite is the chicken fried chicken and their crawfish can't be beat!
