Nice shaded splash pad, seemed clean, and a playground right next to it. Only bathrooms are porta-potties

Splash pad was broken and no signs stating that it was under maintenance when I called. My daughter was very sad and alot of kids were there with parents too.

Ricky Guerrero Splash Pad is an absolute favorite spot for families with young kids in South Austin. The splash pad is generously sized with a great variety of water features that keep children entertained for hours, and the fact that it is completely free makes it even better. There is plenty of shade nearby along with picnic tables and restrooms, which makes it easy to spend a relaxed and comfortable afternoon with the whole family. Ricky Guerrero Splash Pad is an absolute treasure for families in Austin, especially during the hot summer months. My kids had the time of their lives running through the water features and they did not want to leave even after hours of playing. The area is well maintained, clean and feels very safe for children of all ages. There is plenty of space for parents to sit and relax while keeping an eye on the little ones. We will definitely be making this a regular stop throughout the summer season.

We've taken our toddler here three times and the splash pad is never working. The playground also has no shade so the slides and swings get very hot. I wish there was some kind of live update feature to say if it's actually running or not before we make the drive here. The Clarksville splash pad is typically working if this one is isn't and your toddler is already excited to play in some water.
