Rick’s tree service did not finish the job they were paid to do. His workers damaged my property and didn’t seem to care about what was in the contract. When I asked how much it would cost to add trimming one additional branch (8 feet long and about 5 inches thick, close enough to the ground that you didn’t need a ladder to cut it) Rick said it would cost an additional $400. That’s the kind of service you get from him.

Left redwoods without raising them properly, didn’t do a professional quality work given the high prices. Left plant material in owners garden bins, instead of hauling away. Charged 2x of the fair value, not recommended.

Stump was Not Removed. Paid to remove Stump. Hugh stump was left in ground. Agreement was to cut tree and remove stump. I had to pay a gardener to remove tree stump so that gardener could plant in area. Mike’s had to borrow the generator because His generator Didn’t work. Lastly he dumped wood in residence Garbage can instead of towing away all wood as agreed. Mike’s refused to reimbursement for taking stump out of ground. Mike said it would go away, just plant over stump.

They used our backyard to get to a neighbor's property with permission. They used my husband's dolly without permission and damaged it.

I have used Rick’s Tree Service, located in Pittsburg CA, for many years and for a variety of different kinds of jobs. All work has always been done promptly, professionally, and at a very reasonable price. The crew is efficient and the clean up afterwards thorough. I’m particular about trimming trees and Rick knows how each variety of tree needs to be trimmed properly. I highly recommend Rick’s Tree Service.
