Best Little Shop in Town – We recently took our 2002 Toyota Camry in for some brake and engine maintenance. Much to our chagrin, we found out that we needed a new serpentine belt and catalytic converter on top of brakes; not what we were expecting. The work, however, was done the same day and we were back rolling down the road. We love the friendly, family atmosphere. We have taken our cars there since 1996 and will continue to do so. No question ~ Rick's Tire & Service is the BEST little shop in town!
Excellent Service and Price – I bought a new 1995 Trooper and took it down the street to my local mechanic in Kenmore for a check up. There weren't any major problems with the engine they found, but desparately needed new brakes, radiator flush, tranny flush, etc. The brake quote alone was over $1300. A friend knows the owner and said to give the shop a call. I did and they quoted and did the work on the brakes for less than 1/2 the price. There was no hassle and it was easy to schedule. Great Service Awesome Prices – OK...so yeah....I'm "That Girl" ....don't know a lot about cars just know I want mine running well so I don't end up broken down in the middle of the freeway at rush hour.....Needed to do my 30k service and was going to take it to my dealer as per usual......Checked with Rick's and they could do the service significantly cheaper. They were dishonest and did poor work – I will not be using Rick's again. I have spent a lot of money there on mutliple cars and have never had the cars perform right afterward, it actually seemed like there were more problems and have had to had them fixed elsewhere. Also, they told me certain things were wrong and other mechanics said it was all ok. I do not trust them and would be very cautious about using them. Maybe they are better with domestic cars, but my Japanese SUV was abused there.

Honest, Quality, friendly Service – I was looking for tires on a car i bought Dec 2009, one month ago. I was looking for specific tires, and thought as i was driving by, and thought of stopping many moons ago, made the stop and got a quote for the specific tires i was interested in. Awesome Service! – Rick's Rox!! I took my TJ (Jeep) in for a axle swap and ARB Locker.. best service EVER! They did the work right the first time (other place screwed it up) and it was cheaper. The guy at the counter (Mark I think?) was very informative and they had good coffee ;-P
Super Helpful and Informative – We got a used care at an auction for my son - hoped it was a good deal, but were a little nervous. Took it in to see what we actually bought. They ran a complete diagnostic on it and then printed out each of the items that the car would need done in the future. VERY LOW pressure. Rude and condescending just like the other reviewer said – I went in b/c my car was not turning on. We do not know much about cars so we went in to ask. We asked how much it would be for us to diagnose it. He was very rude about the whole matter and repeated about 5 or 6 times that it would depend on if it was an electrical problem or an engine problem. WE DONT KNOW! That is the point!. Best Auto Care In Seattle! – I went to Ricks after a friend of mine told me that it was the most honest place in Seattle... he was not lying! My car was over heating and the hot air was blowing cold, so I took the car to a few other places (I like to get 3 bids) and all of the other places told me that "You need a new water pump and should replace the timing belt at the same time".
