I can't understand the negative reviews but I think those may date back to the previous ownership. We had Rick's Sprinkler (now owned by Steve) replace our ancient backflow preventer. Steve came when promised and did the work himself with the help of an assistant. The install was excellent and Steve carefully explained how things worked, what to watch for, and how to winterize and start up if we wanted to do it ourselves. I was referred to Steve by a neighbor. My calls were immediately returned and he showed up on time. During a recent service, Steve spent extra time answering questions and making solid suggestions. It's really obvious to me that he cares about his clients and their irrigation systems. I am very pleased to have Steve on my list of excellent local businesses!

Born and raised local, Steve Coutts now owns this company after helping Rick grow the business for many years. Steve knows every bit and seen every challenge with irrigation in the Wasatch back. My 30 year old mature landscape is complex and he regularly has to repair or replace as boulders move, roots expand and need change. He is thorough, competent and fair. What more do you want from a local professional? Our Park Meadows neighbors and I have relied on Steve for more than 10 years. You can too.

Rick’s sprinkler and snow removal highly recommend. Not only was Rick a great mentor for Steve the transition was seamless. Prompt return of calls when I didn’t know what or how to do on my own when something was wrong… I could count on start ups and blowouts without me contacting Steve! Very dedicated and very pleased with his service and expertise!

Absolutely horrible customer experience. He continued to cancel appointments at the last minute and didn't honor the days/times he scheduled to do our repair. I would not recommend using this service. Definitely some of the worst customer service I've ever received.
