I don't know where I'd be without these guys!
Good Job - Try Them! On 10/6/2010, I had Rick's Mequon Car Care replace the valve cover gaskets ($400) on my SUV. They did a great job, it was completed in a timely manner, and they charged less than my other two estimates. I am very happy with their service, and the repairman that I worked with has been there for years.
Go someplace else! I have had my car in 4 times to have the A/C fixed and it still doesn't work after replacing different $$ parts. The day after picking it up the engine was misfiring. My coolant level was filled above the recommended fill line. I also had an oil change and thought they would have the courtesy to fill my windshield washer fluid. After the last "repair" my car smelled like cigarette smoke for 3 days until I sprayed Febreez all over the upholstery and carpets.
Ruined my vehicle Took my car in to fix some nagging issues. Was charged over 2K for the work. They claimed to use all OEM parts (which I was charged for), but a quick look under the hook confirmed everything was aftermarket. Couple weeks later the transmission started acting up, turns out they put in the wrong (aftermarket) fluid. Ruined the transmission. They will probably take advantage of your lack of knowledge They will suggest to replace a whole lot of parts that don't need attention, and will charge alot of labor hours. My brother took his car in because he needed to replace a fan switch. their quote said he needed to replace a whole lot of gaskets and seals and hoses, they were going to charge $120 for a cooling system diagnostic, and $300 in labor, all together the total would have been $700. Excellent service My car had a brake issue and I had to get the brake pads replaced , I shopped around a few places and found the quote from Ricks car care less then every one else . During the repair they used the best parts available and did a nice job with the brakes . will certainly recommend to others
Trustworthy Staff and Good Prices I always go to here to get my oil changed, they have the lowest prices around (sometimes even cheaper with coupon). You have to call an make an appointment, but if they are not busy most of the time they will take walk ins. They also have a towing service and they do very good repair work. PROS: good oil change prices, trustworthy staff CONS: none
Great service at a good price This is only one of a few places in Milwaukee where I can take my car knowing they won't make the problem worse or rip me off. Their staff is very skilled and I have never had any problems with them or my car after the problem has been taken care of. They have really fair prices, and they charge less than most places for your basic oil change. They only down side is that you have to make an appointment to get anything done.
