I don't like to rate any one at this point since it's my first time on this site but there is one thing I will rate a 5 star from ric. My 4x4 fireburst bass SWEET.
I love my RIC 620. It's such an awesome guitar. I just changed the stock Schaller M6 mini tuners to Hipshot Grip-Lock, because changing strings was a struggle in combination with the R-tailpiece. Now it's significantly better. :-)
Checking Rickenbacker website for info. on spare parts. Rickenbacker make superb instruments but their after sales service is worse than awful. Maybe they don't consider customers in the U.K. to be important. Even their official importers say the after sales service is hopeless. 5 stars for the instruments, -5 for service. Such a sad state of affairs for a famous company.
