I'm glad to hear others speak highly of Rick. He certainly is a nice guy and we enjoyed listening to him speak of his accomplishments, his exercise routines and his ski trip. Sadly, we were never party to his offering any helpful "homework", and after three sessions (one each with each of us, one with both of us) where our concerns were not addressed - except Rick did say "Be kind" with a story of how an older woman took that to heart and her husband died two years later. My husband and I had trouble finding a therapist who "knew what to do with us'. We finally read on-line resume's of many therapist in the area and interviewed 3. Rick was the one we thought would best address our problems and needs. We were lucky in our choice of Rick! He has really helped us work through some very hard issues in our marriage. He is easy to talk with and has great suggestions for "homework" to do at home. Thank you, Rick!
My husband and I seen Rick for martial counseling. He was very helpful for us. He made us look within ourselves and find out what we as individuals were missing or not doing right. He is non judgmental and really makes you feel comfortable. He not only makes you realize your own issues but gives you ways and techniques to work on them. Honestly, Rick saved our marriage and we are forever grateful.
Rick was awesome in helping me and my husband get our relationship back on track. Very happy we called him.

My son was having problems in school for some time and within a few sessions he was doing better in school and seems much happier. I highly recommend Rick Zalanka as a very good counselor.
