The appointment went fine. It was unfortunate and frustrating that despite having checked in online I still had to fill out all of the intake paperwork manually. Also, I have been unable to get a response to my voicemails. Dr. Wuppermann was supposed to send a referral for PT but they have not received it, and I have called the Austin Spine office and left 2 messages.
Superb surgeon and great bedside manner. Would recommend him without reservation.
Dr. Wupperman was the most thorough and detailed back surgeon that I have ever met. I have been to 7 different back surgeons between Austin and Houston. He spent 30 minutes with me. He explained everything. Also, the office location is hard to find initially, but I can see it being very convenient because it is located inside the parking garage. Dr. Wupperman, listened to my concerns and provide excellent feedback. He is personable and is willing to spend the time needed to explain options and procedures.
