Good Advice and Merchandise I was planning a trip to Europe, and I could not have done it without Rick Steves! The store has lots of travel merchandise and books, and the staff there is very friendly and knowledgable.
A Definite Recommend My wife and I recently had the opportunity to join a Rick Steves' ETBD "Best of Village Italy" tour. For first-timers to Italy, I'd say it's the only way to go. They made it fun and enjoyable learning experience. Rather than my having the steering wheel in one hand, the map in the other, and trying to remember what was read in the guide books in between, the tour made it a total joy. They did the driving. Wonderful people, tours, books and merchandise! While I always trust Rick Steves' travel books as my first source when globe trotting, I also had a fabulous experience on a "Best of Italy" tour led by his qualified and entertaining guides. This company really knows how to make the travel experience meaningful and "down-home."
