I am rather shocked at all the bad reviews on here. We have used Rick to manage our property for 4 years and have nothing but good things to say about him. He has made it so easy to handle renting our house out despite us living all the way across the country. He has smoothly and easily handled everything from a huge tree falling on the house to minor maintenance needs from the tenant. Although I can't speak for our tenants, they must be decently happy at the very least since they have stayed put for 3 years. Thanks, Rick!
Came here to reiterate what the other reviewers have already said extremely well: "RUN." I also wonder how many people this guy has cheated out of the $75 application fee. It seems he has already determined, prior to looking at someone's actual qualifications, that he is going to deny their application and then comes up with a paper trail (which he mails you -- no call, no text, no email) to justify his decision. Rick Hagler deserves every single one of the negative reviews you see here. We have had multiple real estate transactions over the past 30 years and have never dealt with a more unprofessional real estate agent. He was rude and downright mean spirited. He would send notes with threatening language reminding us to pay rent BEFORE it was due. We set up autopay on his antiquated online pay portal to avoid any issues, but it failed to process our payment. If I could give him 0 stars I would. I am currently renting a beautiful property in downtown Atlanta. The oven broke a month ago, refrigerator broke almost 3 weeks ago. When trying to find out when I will get replacements, RIck is no where to be found. Oh wait, I did get a bill for my rent for June. I honestly wonder if the owner actually knows how awful he is. This company is very hard to get ahold of. I had 3 conversations with John Fuller in which he was very condescending . Rick Hagler called me himself and said he would not rent to me because I am young. Rick explicitly told me I could apply for a townhouse but he would find a way to legally deny me. He said he wasn't interested in the "nightmare" that comes with renting to young people. I am 24 and have a masters degree and a full-time job.
