Stay away! Owner is extremely arrogant. We hired Richmond to paint our exterior trim on our home a few years ago. Took multiple calls and multiple reschedules before they ever showed up. When they did, we had to throw the first crew off our project because they were using two different paints and couldnt even see it. When we pointed it out they argued with us that it was the same colorwhich it wasbut two completely different finishes. We contracted Richmond Painting to repaint our kitchen cabinets. The bid came in over $5,000, and included what was promised as "factory-level" paint finishes. What we received - the painter removed a couple of doors and returned a few days later, reinstalled and used spray cans and did not even prep the cabinets! The paint has peeled off all over the cabinets. When we complained to the owner, he would not even return to look at the poor paint job - and has not returned multiple calls over the past months. This company is horrible, Matt the owner is terrible. He was good in the beginning of the painting project but as it got closer to deadline it was difficult to get a hold of him. The project was painting our interior house. Matt never fully finished my painting project. There were still touch ups that needed to be done and he continued tell me he was going to come out and do them. After a week he just stop taking my calls. Do not use this company!

Beware of this group! Their literature is very professional, but the quality of their work is very poor. The owner is very hard to get in touch with. Once the job is paid for, you'll never hear from Matt R******* again. All my windows have over spray on them. He never left me touch up paint( I called and e-mailed him at least 10 times ). They had me inspect the house when they were done. I had to inspect the house three times before I was satisfied. * Repeated unauthorized access to my house, personal affects violated * Surfaces single coated, some areas not painted at all. No taping done on 80+ windows. * Gross negligence. EXTENSIVE overspray damage to over 20 windows requiring replacement. * Damage to house interior, furniture, flooring, door hardware * Landscape damage, no cleanup * Final cost 120% more than original estimate
