I have now been here at the Briarwood Complex just over a week. I must say I am completely appalled I was requested to pay a month and a half for a security deposit. It also happens to be 10Xs the amount of the standard deposit amount. I was told due to my lack of apartment rental history and limited credit history I would need to pay a month and a half’s rent as my deposit. They are a group that lacks understanding and use of basic customer service skills to address issues had by tenants. When reasonable requests are made, especially from otherwise exemplary residents, and those same requests are denied or you are met with 'hostility' for making said reasonable request, then that company has clearly failed to live up to its obligations as a provider of not just a place to live, but of "customer service"...I will never again rent with Richdale Group.
