I have had a number of starters and alternators rebuilt over the years by these folks and it has almost always been considerably less that buying a "remanufactured" one from the parts house. Having an OEM part rebuilt likely has a much better end result as well. These folks are friendly and courteous and I highly recommend them. If a part is too expensive for rebuild they will let you know.
If you travel often and break a part., regardless if its for business or pleasure... then find a place that stocks the items you need and has a freindly knowledgable attitude it can make your day. It can also prime you to highly recomend the business to the other people that may understand what its like to be in a strange town and looking for a replacment item thats not "off the shelf"...
