I’ve been with Dr. Tsai as patient for 25 years. He’s the best! But the office administration at his clinic was is the worst. They don’t answer the phone. You are on constant hold. Prescription renewal and refill is a living nightmare. Even the local pharmacy I use complains of lack of timely response from Providence clinics. In case of emergency which could be I need my prescription refill - they suggest going to emergency room. I’m currently waiting to speak to the care team and there are 9 callers ahead of me. Dr. Tsai is fantastic, knowledgeable and most importantly, truly cares about his patients.
takes more than an hour for someone to answer phone call. They do not answer from noon to 1:30pm. If someone is sick, the least you can do is to not make them wait for an hour.
Dr. Tsai is great. He saw me and my wife as patients and not just a number. He would explain the reasoning for his thinking. Very calming presence when interacting with him. Since moving away, we’ve struggled to find a primary care physician that comes close to the care we received from Dr. Tsai.
I am sitting here waiting for my new patient exam. The apt. was at 1:20 and I was checked in with vitals taken at 1:18. The doctor had not shown up till 1:50. Not sure this is worth my time. I am walking out cancelling my apt as I post this note... --------------12/27/2018 update---------- As it turned out, i gave a second chance and it worked out great.
