I can't recommend Dr Strecker enough. He is excellent at what he does and is extremely professional. With many eye Drs around here you are just a number and have to wait forever to be seen. Totally different experience here. I had cataract surgery done and was terrified. It wasn't bad at all.In my opinion Dr Strecker is the best opthalmologist in the area.

I recently underwent cataract surgery and found it to be a positive and smooth experience. My quality of life has improved because of this procedure. I am grateful to Dr. Strecker and his medical team who performed the surgery. They were professional and dedicated to patient care. Moving back to the South Shore in 1996, a trusted colleague referred me to Dr. Strecker. I could not be happier with his care. He is thorough, respectful, and caring. I never feel rushed at appointments. At the first appointment he discovered a (life-long) problem with my optic nerve, that no one earlier in forty years had shared with me. He arranged special photographs to be taken of both eyes, to serve as a base-line. when I need it, I will trust him for cataract surgery. Dr. Strecker is an excellent ophthalmologist.
