Delivered all 4 of my baby's he was always great and very friendly
I was sent to the ER for high bp and was sat in the L&D emergency room for over 4 hours and was given a sheet and a glass of water. My protein was at a 4+ which is severe pre-eclampsia with no i.v. fluids given in over 4 hours. When we asked when the doctor would be in we were told that he had gone home bc he was trying to get some rest. As the on-call doctor you are not to leave the hospital. It wasn't until we said we were leaving that they finally gave me an i.v. line and was rushed to Ruby Memorial. Was not made aware of... read more
I went to Dr king on recommendation from a friend and I'm so grateful I did. He delivered my oldest son and I believe he saved both our lives. I had a relatively easy pregnancy but delivery did not go smoothly and he had to do a c-section. By the time I was pregnant with my 2nd child he was part of wvu medicine rather than private practice, but he saw me during that pregnancy as well, along with other Drs. He's usually in a hurry if your visit is routine but if you have concerns or questions, he takes all the time you need. ... read more
Found Dr. King thorough and kind. The office staff did much to be helpful also.
Saw him once where he completely ignored my complaints of physical pain, and proceeded to “mansplain” to me how my body worked and said my pain was “normal”. I have since found a doctor who diagnosed my Stage 3 endometriosis. Have been pain free since my surgery. Thanks for nothing, Dr. King.
Genuinely concerned about patients and takes time to listen to you. Knowledgeable and kind.
The BEST doctor. Caring, thoughtful and considerate. Wait can be long at times, but worth it.
I am 30 yrs old been seeing Dr. King since I was 14. He had to do an emergency Oophorectomy and Appendectomy surgery at 14 and if it wasn't for him I would have died. He also followed all 3 of my pregnancies. He very soft spoken and reassuring he let you know everything that's going on. He very understanding and an all around kind hearted Doctor. His wait times are usually long l, but that is to be expected due to labor and delivers. Would recommend him to any1.
I have been a patient of Dr. King for over 11 years. He has delivered all 4 of my children. I had a very hard delivery with two of my children and with the one delivery I am positive my child would not be alive if it wasn't for Dr. King's quick thinking and response. I will always go to Dr. King for my GYN care (since I am done having children) and I will recommend my daughters to him when the time comes. Excellent care the only negative is long wait times.
