I saw Dr. Elchahal for an eye exam and wanted to get new readers. I asked them for a prescription for readers, and I got a prescription for bifocals. I have been calling their office for 4 days and leaving voicemail messages for Lorena and an office manager Connie. Sad thing is, I already had readers made out of the wrong prescription that the Dr gave me. Why would I need a bifocal prescription when I had Lasik several years ago with another doctor in their office. Very unprofessional.
Saw Haleh Ebrahimi at the Memorial location. When I received my glasses with the prescription I couldn't even see out of them. Requested a redo, she moved to Gramercy so I had to drive over there. She changed prescription and I still couldn't see out of new glasses. This was under insurance. I ended up paying out of pocket to another eye dr and he said her prescriptions were way off. I can now see with the 3rd prescription. Not sure she should be seeing patients
Absolutely terrible! I would give negative stars if I could. I broke the frame of my glasses and I have now been calling for three days leaving messages right and left, and nobody has returned my call. It looks like they have no desire to help a patient in need. I am going to look for a better place for my care.
Very dissapointing! Consultation was rushed and quite unpleasant. Met with Dr Goosey but he was not really interested to discuss my eye condition if I was not going to do the cataract surgery he performs. If I decided to do same I will defintely find another more concerned empathatic doctor. Not impressed with the office staff too. Cold and unprofessional.
Excellent service I recommend
Two visits, waited far over an hour to be seen by the nurse/tech, significantly longer for the doctor, for both visits. Please consider finding an office that functions more efficiently and values you time even a little.
This review is for the Tanglewood location. As a new patient who asked for an eye appt. due to eye pain I feel that I was not treated with care or concern. The front desk just wanted to throw papers at you to sign without explanation, I could barely see as my eye hurt so much. When I was taken back to the room the assistant tried to give me a vision test but at this point I was in extreme pain and could not cooperate. She finally deadened my eyes and then dilated them. I have been going to Houston Eye Associates for several years. Referred by my eye doctor to Dr. John Stewart Eye pressure at 30. given drops , now checks as 15 to 16. Did several studies with them over the years. Dr. John passed away and I used his son, Dr. Colby Stewart. He did both my cataract surgeries..
