Dr. Thrasher seems to care more about getting to see more patients than listening: There are also many more charges once you get in the door than you are told about that your insurance does NOT cover.
Dr. Thrasher is good and has some good bed side manners. His support staff and front desk was one of the worst. I went one time and felt like just another patient there. Then I was overcharged for my visit to top it off. Not going back to McKinney location.
I was extremely happy with Dr. Thrasher! He is perceptive, kind & very informative. My son & I were very impressed. I am very hopeful that my situation will be resolved soon. Sonia Fondren
Dr. Thrasher is one of the best doctors I've ever seen! He is highly knowledgeable, professional and kind. He will be my doctor as long as I live in this area.
Everything built up to not wanting to trust them for my surgery. Dr was critical of prior work where results lasted several years past normal. Staff failed to get preapproval for test even though they said all ready. I paid anyway and made pre-op consulting appt. i showed up and they had no record of any appt, but admitted to mistake cause i knew to go new office. After 4 hour round trip, they would not fit me into schedule. I took copy of records and wll find trustworthy doctor.
Hi Dr Thrasher was very friendly and he gave my drops and told to me they would schedule an appointment which would be free followup.As I already paid my co-pay.And even the Nurse who helped me assured it wouldn't be charged.But on 11/17/2016 when I went to Allen Office .I met a lady name Stephanie who was at reception and told her I have an appointment but I don't know what was wrong with her .Even after I explained her that I was clearly told Follow-up is free she didn't want to confirm.
The office staff was friendly and helpful. Scheduling my appointments were easy. I have been to two appointments and my wait has been less than 5-10 minutes each time. On my second visit I had to have a CT scan of my sinuses. Dr Thrasher took time to explain the results and recommendations, as well as answered any of my questions. He was thorough and I felt he had my best interest in mind. I did not feel as though he was rushing me in and out, as some doctors have done in the past.
I would not recommend Dr. Thrasher. He and his staff created a sense of urgency about ordering my hearing aids and charged me 3X the price they had agreed upon with the insurance company. They stalled, saying that the claims were coded incorrectly and would be resubmitted until I just paid for the hearing aids so I could hear again. Now they will not return my calls. If they are doing this to me, they are doing it to others! Beware of the friendly upfront, but stabbing you from behind.
