His skills he had already done both total hip plus revisions n then knee then the shoulder so I would NEVER choose anyone else but my lat dislocation I was taken to lawnwood hospital as mandatory to go to nearest hospital n unfortunately I saw Barry Davis I will not even call hip dr He left me with a split in my bursa causing muscle to poke through causing further dislocations Never again Barry Davis
I brought my elderly mother in for hip pain. THE ONLY solution for this doctor was hip replacement. Without hearing anything about her lifestyle, her health in terms of whether she can even have surgery. Did NOT want to talk about alternative therapies or treatments. Dr Steinfeld has replaced my hips has done revisions in both he has also replaced my knee n most recently did a total reverse shoulder replacement I trust no one else on the treasure coast for any Ortho work His office is well run n organized his follow up care especially with his surgical nurse NIKKI is beyond compare She actually came to my home to remove the zipline saving me a trip to the office my only regret is as I dont drive anymore n am therefore unable to do my rehab with his office n I am sure it would have been e... read more
After being active my entire life, I was suddenly in such pain that I could barely walk. Since then I’ve had knee injections & many many 2nd 3rd 4th opinions. By far the most irresponsible clinical staff I have ever experienced. I was told incorrect estimates out of pocket, my positive MRI for meniscus tear was not addressed for months after an incorrect diagnosis was told to me by Dr. Steinfeld as the cause of my pain. He did not even stick around to discuss my surgery post op, but left it to a nurse to provide minimal information. No follow up scheduled or suggested PT. I had a hip replacement last week. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Steinfeld and his team. His nursing staff (esp Nurse Nikki) is the best. Even the PT service he recommended was awesome. But Dr. Steinfeld was certainly the right doctor for me. Pre surgery he (and his staff) were very helpful and supportive. Although I had a short pre-op time, I was well prepared. Really great Surgeon, and he surrounds himself with wonderful people. Very patient, confident, and knowledgrable. I highly recommend him - I had a total hip replacement.
Dr. Steinfeld replaced both of my knees a few years ago and I haven't had any problems since. He's a great doctor.
