Disclaimer: I haven't followed his recommendations yet, but plan to. I have been to a few GI doctors over the years, and this is the first time a doctor has not brushed me off and told me to just take a PPI or that I had too much stress. PPIs don't work for me and stress is obviously something I can work on, but I want providers to not brush it off. Dr. Song didnt. I was misdiagnosed. I was told I have constipation and need to add 14 spoons of anti-constipation powder to 64 oz of Gatorade and drink it to clear up my constipation. That did not help me at all. I went to Immediate Care the next day and Dr Michael Saad immediately ordered an ultra sound. Result showed Gall Bladder stones. I had to go for cholecystectomy the following week. Hats off to Dr. Michael Saad and thumbs down to Dr. Song.

Horrible! Can't make an appointment or get a televisit for months. When I made a televisit with another doctor in the practice duly called me THE DAY OF THE TELEVISIT TO CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT. Why? Because if you've seen any doctor in the practice in the last 3 years (even if you're sick and can't get into your own doctor) you can't make an appointment with any other doctors in the practice. Two weeks ago my wife had endoscopy and I had both endo and colonoscopy. We had some problems. Unlike our previous unkind gastro doctor, Mr. Song is a decent professional. He listened to us well and explained enough to us both at his office and after scopy. Nice! Though we were a little concern about his staff because of others' review posted here, Doctor Song's staff at scheduling, office, surgery, and result notice are nice too. Highly recommend Doctor Song!
Dr.Song is nice but never seems have coverage when gone and the staff is rude, and does not take time with their patients. They wasted precious time from hospital to next visit by then. 2 mos later mom has cancer and not so much as a pain from unfeeling office.

My husband is a patient and was having serious issues. This resulted in me calling to get him in for an appointment. I was told the nurse would call to let me know availability. I called back after waiting for 3 hours letting them know my husband was getting worse, and in serious pain, they assured me I would get a call back soon. We NEVER got a call. I am very, very disappointed, they could have at least called to let us know to go to the emergency room. I find this very unprofessional!
Beware! Doctors are ok but the nurses and office will not call you back even if you have an active infection. The nurse will call back and will say "if you call back, I may be on the phone because of high volume". She has the results I don't need to talk to her she can call the MD and get orders from the MD and carry out the order call the pharmacy for the prescription and just leave me a message that I can pick up my medicine from my pharmacy I think that's ok without violating the privacy law.
