Avoid at all costs. Screams at you for being 1 minute late. When we tried rebooking with him after traveling for months (and after he couldn’t meet us because of holidays) he told us to go find a new therapist. Highly unprofessional especially considering his age and his experience. Wow.
Dr. Horowitz is very understanding and companionate, and patient with his clients. He doesn't judge you or criticize you. He makes you think and lets you find out on your own if you pay attention. He gives you clues of what is important and won't tell you of what you should or how you should do it. I've been seeing him for the last 6 months, first by my self and later he had sessions with my husband, sometimes we also do sessions together. he was on his phone during 3 sessions. i mean….do you really want *that* as your therapist?
HE IS OPEN!!!! I've been seeing Richard for about 3 years, maybe more, I cannot remember. He's open and the information on file except for the temporarily closed is legit (his phone number on file is the land line) Richard has office hours and he has Televisit hours.
Dr. Richard is wonderful. He helps me a lot.
