I would leave 0 stars if I could. Dr. Hill suggested my child was having a psychotic episode and that her pain (from a diagnosed autoimmune disorder that she had for years) was all in her head. She was screaming in pain and this man suggested she be sedated to put another IV in without telling her. We got home and she ended up in the hospital the next day with an ulcer, throwing up blood and bloody stool. He was arrogant and frankly, he was mean. Dr. Richard Stewart Hill, MD at Children’s hospital New Orleans presented himself as closed minded and arrogant because our views did not line up. He insisted my 8 month old had chick pox - due to a rash on her face - that looked NOTHING like chicken pox by the way, so much so even after testing was done to prove he was wrong he did a secondary test to try and prove his point was true, it was not.
