Run, do not walk, from this provider and practice. I was assigned to Dr. Quintaliani when hospitalized at HH. He breezed in and out of my room and I barely knew his specialty. Two weeks later, I was found to have a lethal infection, that my body saved me from. He never saw me prior to discharge and told the hospitalist what antibiotic I should take, The hospitalist cautioned me against the antibiotic's side effects and prescribed something else. I was hospitalized in February for a severe infection that Dr Q did not treat properly. I told him it didn't feel like it was gone and he said i was fine. Less than a week later, i was re-admitted, and spent a week getting no treatment (or tests!) because he dug his heels in because he said i didn't have an infection. He told me if I thought I needed treatment to go to another hospital. Long story short, I almost died and spent a total of 34 days in the hospital. This is one doctor I won't hesitate to come back, especially after getting lost and messing up their appointment schedule. The office was very accommodating and friendly when I call just before the time of my appointment. I was totally lost driving around same nice Hartford neighbors. The receptionist gave me some directions and we arrived 30 min. late. We were checked right and were told that the doctor had a call to the hospital.
