My husband had been in sever pain for years. After seeing multiply doctors he was finally was told to see Dr. Wolkowitz. Thanks to Dr. Wolkowitz he has been so much better since he has had the stemulator put in. He was never rushed and the doctor explained everything so that we could both understand. Can't thank him enough.
This doctor has helped me for 5 years. He can give a shot in your spine in just right spot. I’m going to miss him so much.
I have been seeing him for past 4 years. He is awesome. Up front and has helped me tremendously. Getting harder to get in to him.
He's a good pain doctor. He's not the kind of doc that just passes out the pills, but, he has a keen awareness for "if you're really suffering." In which case he'll do plenty to help you get diagnosed and get you proper care AND pain relief. His bedside manner can get a little gruff if he's rushed so I like to see him at his Columbia location but he does go to another Hospital Clinic once a week. After a year of seeing him, I have a great deal of respect for this doc. He knows real pain.
I had a number of spinal injections in the past. They were rather unpleasant and only provided limited relief. Then I heard about Dr. Wolkowitz. The man is a magician! He has a deft touch and the spinal injections he has done have been far more tolerable, almost comfortable, and the results are simply remarkable. He obviously studied my MRI and ensured the injection was in exactly the right spot. He is great to talk to, and takes his time to explain what's going on. He's GREAT!
