Dr Ilgen is an exceptional surgeon and goes above and beyond with his patients to assure they have a good outcome postop. I have suffered for years with horrible pain to both knees due to OA and thanks to Dr Ilgen I am now pain free with 2 new robotic knees and have my quality of life back. Dr. Illgen has performed multiple orthopedic procedures that have improved my overall quality of life. Dr. Illgen and his team have consistently provided me with the utmost support and care. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering robotic joint replacement surgery.
My visit today was for a follow up to right knee surgery on 9/30/24. The resident who initially saw me examined me and told me I was doing well at one year post op. The attending physician, who followed seemed unaware that this was a one year post op visit, telling me I could stop all the post op meds, continue meds my primary physician had prescribed and that I should return in one year. It seemed like the attending physician, who had done the surgery, did not know I was 1 year post op.
On time, knowledgable, professional and listened and addressed all my questions and concerns. I felt I was in good hands.
