Don't use this dr. The office doesn't answer phone calls or return messages. My dad is out of blood pressure medicine and they won't call us back. We have had the pharmacy reach out to them multiple times and we have left multiple messages and they won't call anyone back. 0 out of 10 find a new dr. I know he is going to be going to piedmont hospital soon so if you go there for care and get a Richard Horak II ask for a new dr.
Does more listening than talking, which I take as a good sign. Sports medicine background helps when addressing my assorted aches and pains. Pleasant demeanor as a bonus.
Dr Horak seems to be a fine doctor, but his staff are anything but! I called on a Friday and never got a call back even though I left a message and waited til the following Thursday for my follow up. I was advised that I would have a surgical referral done the next morning. I called back Friday about 11cst. I was transferred to the nurse and the call dropped, may have been my cell.
