Dr Richard L Harvey attempted to perform aortic valve replacement on my mother 4/8/2026. She had several intense ultrasounds leading up to her surgery as well as a TEE test and a heart cath. He assured my mom, myself and my brother she was absolutely a canidate and the procedure would be simple as he had over 30 years experience and the only thing that would be difficult was recovery from the open heart procedure BUT that by July she’d be herself again and working in her flower gardens. Dr Harvey did my aorta valve surgery in 2011 and gave me a good one. I have just started having some issue with narrowing. He is an absolute wonderful doctor with great bedside manners. I really loved him

Dr Harvey did open heart surgery (4 bypasses) on my husband Sam. Sam and I felt comfortable talking with him and asking questions. He was patient and professional with us, as well as personable. He was also this way at both follow-up visits. We would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone who needed OPS.
Dr. Richard Harvey was very caring and professional, but easy to talk with.
