This Doctor is the BEST!!! Great bedside manner! Kept my family and I aware of everything that was going on with me!! I highly recommend him!!!
I was seen by Dr. Schmidt in November 2023 for relentless lower back pain. I had been examined by 3 neurologists, 5 pain management specialists, and 3 neurosurgeons including Dr. Schmidt. I was instantly impressed with his insights into my condition. He was the only doctor who heard my questions, and he was very clear about the paths I could follow. Definitely the worst experience I've had with a medical office to date. I should have listened to my mother-in-law when she warned me about her experience with them previously. The convenience for them being local was completely outweighed by their seemingly deliberate lack of concern.
Dr. Schmidt along with the office staff in Sewell have been wonderful to work with. It was initially difficult to get a hold of their office via phone but I think that’s because Jefferson does most of their communication over mychart. Anyways, He took care of my mother almost immediately when he heard about her case during her ER admission and every nurse we spoke to reassured us that we’d be in good hands. They weren’t wrong.
