I worked as Dr. Lim’s medical assistant for multiple years. While he is technically a highly skilled surgeon in the operating room, his bedside manner is consistently lacking in compassion, humility, and respect for patients and staff. I was told by PA one thing and finally saw Dr Lim and received entire different story, failing to be listened to. Was told one thing with my first MRI….then. fell FOUR TIMES AFTER and PA insisted to not repeating a new one, as I stated I had CONTINUED PAIN FROM HAVING THE FIRST MRI DONE WITH ALL NEW SYMPTOMS. I was told I had compression fractures in my vertabre and was told they’d be fine. Dr Lim is a great surgeon. My lumbar fusion he did years ago is still solid. I developed new painful symptoms higher up so went back but this time he was rushed, didn't listen to me, very short in his answers to things I managed to ask. Said there was nothing he could do. And brushed me off. Then started asking abruptly right there in the exam room why I wouldn't leave a credit card on file even though my excellent insurance was verified prior to my visit and my deductible was paid and I have no copays. Dr. Lim listens and explains everything in great detail so all my questions are answered. He does not rush appointment
He knew that I didnt want surgery and he decided to send me to ATI.

The appointment was super fast! Barely let me talk unless it was yes or no answers. It was a of he was in a hurry. I'm old and it takes time for me to answer and to process the questions.
