I saw this provider four times. His name was given to me by my insurance, and I chose him because of his office location. The first two appointments went well—he gathered my health information, addressed my symptoms, and gave me a good impression that he could be my long-term PCP. Excellent doctor. Punctual, truthful, and most importantly, helpful and knowledgeable.
DO NOT GO HERE if you are a member of the LGBTQ community! Dr. Suan made some extremely inappropriate comments about my lifestyle, and asked questions about my husband and I’s relationship that were far beyond anything a doctor should ever say. It has taken me a long time to write this since my last visit awhile back. This type of care is the reason LGBTQ people are afraid of medical care. I will never go back, and I think people need to know. It was unethical and possible malpractice.
Was given the impression we were a bother in his presence. Definitely needs adjustment to bedside manners. First name is fitting. Office is great, and all other staff interactions have been pleasant over every visit. However, Dr Suan is very unsatisfactory. Will avoid at all costs, whether he was having a bad/off day or not.
